The Drafting Technology course provides students a comprehensive knowledge of drafting, using both traditional drawing boards and computer aided drafting (CAD) and with a balanced mix of mechanical, architectural, civil and structural drafting. This course also combines technical CAD training with the vocabulary and knowledge needed to communicate with future employers in the architectural, engineering and construction fields. Also, it prepares individuals to enter the workforce assisting architects, engineers, contractors and other related fields.
