ctvtThe College of Technical and Vocational Training (CTVT) is one of the colleges housed at the BPSU Main Campus located at Capitol Compound, City of Balanga, Bataan. The College started as an institute, known as the Institute of Technical and Vocational Training  (ITVT) after the formerly Medina Lacson De Leon School of Arts and Trades  was converted into a college known as the Bataan Polytechnic State College (BPSC)through Republic Act 8562. The college was one of the 23 vocational schools throughout the country that has been selected to participate in the Technical Vocational Education Project (PATVEP) and one of the 9 vocational schools throughout the country to be selected in the Philippine-Australia Technical Vocational Education Project (PATVEP)

In 2004, the Automotive Department was recognized as Center of Excellence in Autotronics since the department was a recipient of various equipment, machines and tools from the Expansion  of Dual Education and Training  (EDET) project, amounting to more than P30M, including fellowship training of trainors and administrators abroad.
