International Lecture on Agriculture held at BPSU Abucay Campus

Dr. Khin Mar Cho, an International Agriculture and Nutrition Specialist from Cornell University, delivered a lecture on Modernizing Agriculture for improved Food Security and Livelihood in the Philippines on September 21, 2016 at the Training Center of BPSU Abucay Campus.

The lecture aimed at exploring the potential of agriculture in the Philippines to maximize the nutritional benefits of locally produced agri-products and to promote research and extension services to optimize income generation of agriculturists.

Employees from the Office of Provincial Agriculture headed by Ms. Imelda D. Inieto and the faculty members and the students of Bachelor of Agriculture and Agricultural Engineering joined the one-day lecture.

The event was organized by the BPSU International Affairs Office in coordination with Dr. Renato Reyes, Director of Central Luzon State University – International Affairs Office, Dr. Zoila M. Duque, the Dean of Instruction of BPSU Abucay Campus, and Ms. Evelyn S. Tria, Campus Director of BPSU Abucay.
