Bayan Muna Rep. Casiño Speaks at BPSU MC and AC Grad Rites

Sectoral Representative of Bayan Muna Partylist, Teodoro A. Casiño was BPSU’s guest speaker during the 2012 Graduation Rites of the Main Campus and Abucay Campus held at La Vista Inland Resort, Balanga City, Bataan on April 10, 2012.

Speaking before more than a thousand graduates the congressman expressed: “Mas marami kayong matututunan sa labas ng paaralan. What the school can only provide is the proper values and skills for success, but what we do with it, how we apply these skills and values in our lives, in our families, our community and our country—that is the art that we will have to master for the rest of our lives.”

“Sa inyong pagtatapos, umaasa ako na gagamitin ninyo ang inyong pambihirang talino, talento at oportunidad upang paglingkuran ang sambayanang nagpa-aral sa inyo," added the congressman.

He also gave practical ways on how the graduates as Iskolar ng Bayan can pay back to the country. Among his tips include: uphold what is right and reject what is wrong, alleviate the condition of the poor, fight corruption, protect the environment, live life with dignity, buy Filipino products and vote for the right leaders.

The Main Campus and the Abucay Campus are known for their programs in engineering, information technology and agriculture.
