Students who frequently go online for research or social networking do not have to go outside the campus to visit the cyberworld. The City of Balanga (COB) provided free internet connection for the students of BPSU Balanga Campus (BC) starting first semester of AY 2012-2013. The move was part of the COB’s World-class University Town 2020 vision. The Management Information Systems Offices of BPSU and COB coordinated to make the provision of internet service possible. The Plaza Peninsulares in BC serves as the center of campus WIFI zone where students with laptop, notebooks or WIFI-enabled mobile devices can avail of the free internet access. The connection covers a radius of 90 meters.

The COB has been making the major locations within the city WIFI zones where citizens can freely access the internet. City Mayor Joet Garcia is a staunch advocate of ICT in governance.
